Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Sales Agent to drive the adoption of our SecOre payout solution across the Scrap Metal Recycling Industry. Based anywhere in the Eastern United States, ideally near major industrial hubs (e.g., Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia or similar), you will leverage your deep industry network and expertise to consultatively sell SecOre to major brands. This role is perfect for a commercial leader from the scrap metal sector, potentially seeking a part-time opportunity or a new proposition to promote through your own consultancy business.
You will engage your network to highlight the benefits of SecOre: enhanced security, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and safety. With cash payments facing legal restrictions in some states and the inefficiencies of bank transfers or check processing, SecOre offers the ideal next-best alternative for scrap metal businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Engagement: Proactively approach your established network of major scrap metal recycling brands to introduce and promote the SecOre payout solution.
- Consultative Selling: Educate prospects on the advantages of digital payment solutions, emphasizing security, compliance, cost savings, and operational efficiency compared to cash, bank transfers, or checks.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the scrap metal industry, focusing on key decision-makers at large and mid-sized companies.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction with SecOre.
- Market Feedback: Provide insights to CarbonPay.io on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine our offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CarbonPay.io sales and product teams to tailor pitches and ensure seamless client onboarding.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: Deep experience in the scrap metal recycling industry, with a strong understanding of its operational and financial challenges.
- Network: Extensive connections with key decision-makers at major scrap metal recycling brands, ideally across multiple states in the Eastern U.S.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of consultative selling, preferably in B2B environments, with the ability to articulate the value of innovative solutions.
- Commercial Leadership: Experience as a commercial leader or consultant in the scrap metal sector, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Location: Based in the Eastern United States, preferably in or near major industrial hubs (e.g., Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia or similar).
- Flexibility: Comfortable working part-time or as part of your consultancy business, with the ability to manage your own schedule.

- Existing consultancy business in the scrap metal or related industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with payment processing, FinTech solutions, or regulatory compliance in industrial markets.
