Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Sales Agent to drive the adoption of our new fuel card solution across the Fuel Card Reselling Industry. Based anywhere in Germany (preferably Central, near major industrial business hubs and preferably a major international airport), you will leverage your deep industry network and expertise to consultatively sell to major Fuel Card Resellers and also forge partnerships with large member organisations. This role is perfect for a commercial leader from the fuel card sector, potentially seeking a part-time opportunity or a new proposition to promote through your own consultancy business.

You will engage your network to highlight the benefits of CarbonPay Groups propositions: enhanced security, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and safety. CarbonPay offers the ideal next-best alternative for fuel card reseller businesses, uncreditworthy applicants, small businesses and startups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Engagement: Proactively approach your established network of major fuel card reselling brands to introduce and promote our fuel card propositions and platform solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Educate prospects on the advantages of digital payment solutions, emphasizing security, compliance, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the fuel card industry, focusing on key decision-makers at large and mid-sized companies.
  • Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction with our business.
  • Market Feedback: Provide insights to CarbonPay.io on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine our offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CarbonPay.io sales and product teams to tailor pitches and ensure seamless client onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Deep experience in the fuel card reselling industry, with a strong understanding of its operational and financial challenges, including experience working with partners and partnership affiliates.
  • Network: Extensive connections with key decision-makers at major fuel card reselling brands, ideally across multiple Germany and Eastern EU countries.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of consultative selling, preferably in B2B environments, with the ability to articulate the value of innovative solutions to potential partners.
  • Commercial Leadership: Experience as a commercial leader or consultant in the fuel card sector, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Location: Remote, Germany (preferably Central, near major industrial business hubs and preferably a major international airport) with travel to Eastern EU Countries when required.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working part-time or as part of your consultancy business, with the ability to manage your own schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing consultancy business in the fuel card or related industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with payment processing, FinTech solutions, or regulatory compliance in industrial markets.
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology-driven solutions to traditional industries.
